ABA Compare
Is the new mix better, or only louder and different? Drop the milestone's mixes in at once. Every mix of the same song is lined up with the baseline and brought to its loudness, so switching lands on the same beat at the same level. Then hide them behind doors and pick one before you know which is which.
Drop the milestone's mixes here, all at onceThe baseline and every mix to compare against it, plus the client's reference song if there is one. File names are read for the stage (M1, M2, M3, "dynamic", "ref"); the Milestone 3 dynamic mix becomes the baseline. Change anything below.
The tracks
0:00.0Drag across the waveform to loop a section.
HearEvery track, the doors included, plays through the same choice.
Keys: 0 for the baseline, 1 to 9 for the tracks, Space to play or stop. Switching is instant and keeps the place.
Listen behind every door, pick the one you'd keep, then open them.
Keys: 1 to 9 for the doors, 0 for the baseline while it is not behind a door, Space to play or stop. Each round reshuffles the doors.

Prototype limits
Working name. A prototype for the Milestone 4 compare rows; not yet tried on a real session.
Files are decoded by the browser at the playback rate. The numbers here are for matching, not a measurement report: AudioVibes measures the finished mix.
The level match is one change per track, from integrated loudness over the stretch it shares with the baseline. A mix louder only in the chorus stays louder there.
Lining up searches 10 seconds either way. A different recording (the client's reference) cannot be lined up and plays from the same clock time.
The level change is applied to playback only. Your files are never changed.
